"The first thought about this project was about colour. The joyous warm colours against the mysterious cool colours were the invitation to a deep down seascape where many spectacular creatures live. It would set contrasts and shine its inner light. Using basic shapes resembling organs, structures, eggs and other characteristics of undersea life, the creature took shape. It represents the beginning of times and the background of our own destiny. It is the fertile gel which will produce offspring. The overall image contains hints of significant contrasts such as day and night, undersea and outer space which in its own way also cover the “everything” in between – origins, life, evolution, death.”
