April 2025: Radical Futures is the core theme for the third Regional Arts Triennial, which will comprise of a group of local exhibitions/performances developed and presented in regional Western Australia during 2025. A subsequent selective showcase will be shown in John Curtin Gallery, Perth during 2026 bringing regional futures to metropolitan Western Australia.
REGIONAL ARTS TRIENNIAL:

Artgold is looking for a Local Curator from the Goldfields arts and culture community.
This is for the third Regional Arts Triennial.
The Regional Arts Triennial shows contemporary visual art and performances from across regional Western Australia.
The theme for this event is Radical Futures.
The Triennial includes:
Local art exhibitions and performances
Learning and development for artists
Support and connection between communities
A celebration of culture and creativity
The Local Curator will work with:
Sarah Roots, the Lead Curator
Goldfields artists

Your job will be to:
Help plan and shape an exhibition based on the Radical Futures theme
Show the exhibition at the Artgold Gallery in December 2025
Payment
$3850 total
This is for 70 hours of work
You will be paid $55 per hour
Extra Support
You will get help from Sarah Roots
You can choose a mentor to support you (they will also be paid)
Artgold will help with:
Event space
Exhibition planning
Workshops and event setup
