"I have been a zookeeper for fifteen years. I am naturally drawn to animals and am literally drawing them now, with the aim of showing the beauty of all species across different taxa. This piece was inspired by my recent trip with the Department of Parks and Wildlife as a volunteer for a biodiversity survey, as well as the commitments and sacrifices of members of Goldfields Native Animal Care towards the care of rescued native wildlife.”
