Fossick Yarn Guild created the inspired “Heartlink” project as a "tie-in" fringe event for Heartwalk 2017. People of all ages and abilities joined in transforming the chainlink fence along the St Mary’s Primary School and Maritana St bridge into a colourful rainbow of yarn hearts.
The project went viral and soon every school in Kalgoorlie Boulder had their fences decorated with yarn hearts, even spreading as far as 900km away to Warburton!
