Mallee Meanderings

Esperance Anglican Wildflower Festival 2015

The Esperance Anglican Wildflower Festival is an annual showcase of around 500 local species of wildflowers. The flowers are picked under licence and put on display for all to appreciate.

The theme this year is ‘Mallee Meanderings’. There will be a focus on the Mallee located around Esperance as well as the usual and unusual wildflowers found in our unique region.

The festival is held in the Anglican Parish Centre and is a must to see in September.  There is also a photographic exhibition highlighting the local environment, a student art exhibition displayed in the church, local music groups, refreshments and lunches.  This year the festival will host a selection of local artists and outside in the courtyard will be local market stalls.

Entry is by gold coin donation and school groups are free.

The festival is open from 9am - 4.30pm daily.
